BAföG

Since the Main Program of the IMCF is recognized, according to the BAföG, by the government as a professional school, the corresponding lawful support possibilities are valid.

For professional schools, the so-called “Schüler-BAföG,” not the the “Studenten-BAföG” applies. The advantage of the “Schüler-BAföG” over the “Studenten-BAföG:” it does not have to be paid back – not even partially.

The level of BAföG support depends, among other factors, on the income of the parents, the number of children they have, and their place of residence.
The application BAföG is made, as a rule, at the appropriate “Landratsamt” at the parent’s place of residence.

For the Basic Program, BYföG support is not available.
