If an applicant fulfills the admission requirements and decides to enter the training program at the IMCF, he/she will enter into a study contract for the Basic or the Main Program. The minimum duration of this contract is one school year (9/1 – 8/31). Contract changes, e.g. notice or leave of absence, must be presented in writing at the latest four weeks before the end of the school year.
The instruction in the Main Program is aligned according to the regulations of Freiburg’s Secondary School Office, including the curriculum, teaching plans and time schedule. The instruction in the Basic Program is coordinated with the entry requirements of the Main Program. The student will receive the complete documents pertaining to this before signing the study contract.

Pre-Auditions 2011! For the first time it will be possible for applicants who live far away to apply for the IMCF through a pre-screening video audition. The results can be used to determine whether it is a good idea to travel a far distance for the live audition or where there might be room for improvement as preparation for the audition. Read more
